Fees: Please be advised that the mediator fee is the lesser of $450 per hour or $1,200 per half day [typically four (4) hours]. The fee will be equally charged unless otherwise agreed to by both parties in advance. The mediator will submit an interim invoice for payment every month. Travel and reimbursement: Unless the mediation takes place outside of the metropolitan areas of Denver, El Paso (Texas), or Phoenix, there will be no charge for travel. For mediations taking place outside of these three metropolitan areas, the parties will be charged for the travel expenses associated with traveling from the closest of the mediator’s three offices, including reasonable mileage, car rental, hotel, and other customary expenses. Generally, refundable flight tickets will be purchased for travel. The mediator does not charge for travel time. All other actual expenses will be billed to the parties, including any cancellation fees or change fees charged by airlines, hotels, rental car companies. Cancellation policy: Cancellations or postponements within seventy-two (72) hours of the scheduled mediation will be charged $1,200 plus nonrefundable travel expenses. Cancellation or postponement is effective at the time a voice mail is left at (303) 595-0008, or at the time the mediator receives an email to that effect.
